Product Description

Gem UltraFleet Plus 5W-30 is a low-SAPS heavy-duty diesel engine oil for commercial vehicle and fleet applications requiring a 5W-30 lubricant.

It is formulated to provide engine wear protection, cleanliness and deposit control under demanding operating conditions. Its low-SAPS formulation also makes it suitable for compatible diesel engines fitted with DPF and other exhaust aftertreatment systems.

Modern Heavy-Duty Fleets

For commercial vehicles requiring a low-SAPS SAE 5W-30 heavy-duty diesel engine oil.

DPF & Aftertreatment-Equipped Engines

Suitable for compatible diesel engines fitted with DPF and other exhaust aftertreatment systems where the required lubricant specification is met.

5W-30 Heavy-Duty Applications

For compatible heavy-duty diesel engines where a 5W-30 lubricant meeting the required performance level is specified.

Fleet & Workshop Maintenance

Available for transport operators, workshops and fleet maintenance operations servicing compatible heavy-duty diesel vehicles.

Common Questions

The most obvious difference is viscosity grade: UltraFleet Plus is a 5W-30, while UltraFleet CK-4 is a 15W-40. They are intended for different engine and operating requirements, so the correct product should be selected according to the specification and viscosity grade required for the individual engine.

Check the engine manufacturer’s required viscosity grade and lubricant performance specification. UltraFleet Plus 5W-30 should only be used where its stated performance levels meet the requirements of the engine. Refer to the product Technical Data Sheet for full specifications.

Different engines are designed around different lubricant viscosities and performance requirements. A 5W-30 should not be selected simply because it is a lower-viscosity oil; use the viscosity grade specified for the particular engine and operating conditions.

Oil-drain intervals should follow the engine manufacturer’s servicing requirements and take account of operating conditions and maintenance practices. Using UltraFleet Plus 5W-30 alone should not be taken as a reason to extend the recommended service interval.
