Product Description

Gem Super Universal Oil (SUTO) is a multipurpose tractor lubricant designed for use in engines, transmissions, hydraulics and final drives of tractors. It is blended from carefully selected base oils and additive technology to produce a lubricant that exceeds the performance demands of farm and plant equipment.

The formulation supports wear protection, foam control and corrosion protection. It also provides the friction characteristics required by compatible oil-immersed brakes and clutches, helping control wet-brake noise in suitable applications.

Tractor Transmissions & Final Drives

Suitable for tractor engines, transmissions and final-drive systems where a 15W-30 SUTO is specified.

Wet Brakes & Hydraulics

Designed for transmission and hydraulic applications including systems fitted with wet brakes and oil-immersed clutches.

Off-Road & Plant Hire

Suitable for a range of off-road and plant machinery applications where a multi-purpose tractor lubricant is required.

Final Drives & Gearboxes

Suitable for gearboxes and final-drive systems where the required lubricant specification is met.

Common Questions

It is intended for tractor engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, wet brakes and final drives where a multipurpose SAE 15W-30 tractor oil is required. It should not be assumed suitable for every system in every tractor.

No. A UTTO is generally used in tractor transmissions, hydraulic systems, wet brakes and related components, but not in engines. A multipurpose tractor oil may also cover compatible engine applications where the equipment requires it.

Both are multipurpose tractor oils, but they have different viscosity grades. Selection should be based on the lubricant type and viscosity required for the individual machine

Mixing should be avoided unless compatibility has been confirmed. Oils with similar viscosity grades can contain different additive systems and may be intended for different applications.
