Product Description

Gem Lithium Complex (Red) Grease is an NLGI 2, EP multi-purpose grease formulated with a lithium complex thickener. It is intended for bearing and general lubrication applications where high loads, elevated temperatures, shock loading or water ingress may be present.

The formulation provides mechanical stability, oxidation resistance, corrosion protection and resistance to water washout. These properties help the grease remain effective under demanding operating conditions and support consistent lubrication between service intervals.

The grease has an operating temperature range of -20°C to +160°C and a drop point of 250°C. The drop point indicates the temperature at which the grease begins to lose its semi-solid structure; it is not the maximum recommended operating temperature.

NLGI 2 describes the grease’s consistency. It is a medium-firm consistency commonly used for general-purpose lubrication and bearing applications

Front wheel bearings can be exposed to heat and load during operation. The lithium complex formulation provides oxidation stability and maintains effective lubrication across the stated operating-temperature range.

Gem Lithium Complex (Red) Grease has an operating-temperature range of -20°C to +160°C and a drop point of 250°C. The drop point should not be treated as the maximum operating temperature.
