Tractor Transmission/Hydraulic Systems
Gem HighTran Fluid is a Universal Tractor Transmission Oil (UTTO) designed for use in tractor transmissions, final drives, wet-brake systems and hydraulic systems. It is suitable for a wide range of agricultural and off-road equipment where a UTTO is specified.
Not suitable for use in internal combustion engines.
Benefits include excellent hydraulic fluid properties, superior transmission lubrication, limiting wet brake noise while providing friction protection, advanced anti-foaming properties, and enhanced corrosion protection.
Tractor transmission systems requiring an SAE 10W-30 UTTO.

Tractor and agricultural hydraulic systems designed to operate with a universal transmission and hydraulic fluid.
Final-drive systems requiring the same UTTO used in the transmission and hydraulic system.

A UTTO is intended primarily for tractor transmissions, hydraulic systems, final drives, wet brakes and oil-immersed clutches. A multipurpose tractor oil may also be suitable for compatible engine applications. The two product types should not be treated as interchangeable.
No. Gem High Tran Fluid is a transmission and hydraulic fluid and is not suitable for use in internal-combustion engines.
No. SAE 10W-30 describes the viscosity grade but does not establish the product’s application or friction characteristics. An SAE 10W-30 engine oil is not automatically suitable for a transmission, hydraulic system or wet-brake application.
It is intended for compatible oil-immersed brake and clutch systems requiring a UTTO. Its friction characteristics are designed to support controlled operation and help limit wet-brake noise.
