Concrete Mould Release Agent
Dry-Cast Concrete
GemLeaze DC is a low-odour concrete mould release agent developed for dry-cast and precast production. Applied as a thin, even film, it helps prevent concrete from adhering to the mould and supports clean removal after production.
It is primarily intended for steel moulds used in repetitive production, including hollow-core flooring, manhole covers and other precast concrete components. It may also be used on compatible timber and ABS plastic moulds, subject to a trial application.
The formulation is designed to support consistent release and surface finish while helping protect steel mould surfaces during normal use. Excess product, runs and pooling should be avoided, as overapplication can affect release performance and the appearance of the finished concrete.

Repetitive dry-cast production using compatible steel moulds, including deep or complex profiles.

GemLeaze DC is developed for dry-cast production and is primarily intended for steel moulds. GemLeaze GP Bio has a bio-based formulation and is intended principally for wet-cast concrete applications. Selection should be based on the casting process and mould material.
A controlled film provides consistent coverage without leaving excessive material on the mould. Runs, puddles or uneven application can affect demoulding and the appearance of the finished concrete surface.
Apply a thin, even film using suitable spray equipment, a roller, brush or another controlled method. The mould should be clean and free from old concrete and excessive contamination. Remove any pooled or excess material before casting.
