Product Description

Gem Coolant 5 Year (Pink) is based on monoethylene glycol, containing no nitrates, amines, phosphates, borax or silicates, and is suitable for all year-round use in both petrol and diesel engines.

The formulation is designed to provide year-round freeze and corrosion protection in compatible petrol and diesel engine cooling systems containing aluminium or ferrous metals. It is supplied pre-diluted and should be used as supplied.

Gem 5 Year Coolant (Pink) provides freeze protection to -37.8°C and a service life of up to 5 years or 240,000 km, whichever comes first.

No. It is supplied pre-diluted and ready to use. Adding water will change the concentration and level of freeze protection.

It is designed to provide corrosion protection in compatible engine cooling systems containing aluminium or ferrous metals. The required coolant technology and performance standard must still be checked.

It provides a service life of up to 5 years or 240,000 km, whichever comes first. The applicable service interval should be checked in the vehicle or equipment service documentation.

Coolants should not be mixed unless their compatibility has been confirmed. Colour is not a reliable indicator of coolant chemistry or compatibility.
